I started collecting vintage goods at an early age. Thrifting was a way of life growing up for me and my family. I had collected so many good vintage pieces that I decided to take a chance and start my own business. After finding myself struggling to make ends meet Yoko Vintage was born. The name of my shop comes from my nickname growing up. My family would say I could pass as John and Yoko's daughter. I chose the name Yoko Vintage because it has a warm connection to my family growing up. Also, Yoko Ono is a badass.
I offer a variety of curated pieces from different decades and styles. Every piece is fun and unique with modern relevance. I like to up-cycle vintage clothing to give them a current look. So many perfectly good, wearable textiles end up in landfills. Why not Reuse, Reduce, Recycle, Rihanna! All of my inventory is for sale at the vintage store Retropolis in Houston, Texas. You can also catch me at different pop-up markets around town selling my wares. I make planters and other art under the name Buttanical Gardens. I am also the co-founder of Got Vintage Market, one of Houston's best all vintage vendor market. Yoko Vintage is a vintage lover, thrifting addict, maker of things, dance machine.
